Two-Time Wrestling State Placer Carson Blum Heading to Indiana

Lowell Wrestling will lose a key contributor from their past two wrestling seasons in a move that had been seen as likely since early 2026. Carson Blum will be transferring to Indiana where he will compete for the Edgewood Wrestling Program out of Ellettsville, Indiana.

Edgewood is a suburb of Bloomington where Carson’s brother and former 4-time Michigan HS state champion Jackson Blum wrestles at Indiana University.

When one thinks of high school orchestra pieces, My Chemical Romance isn’t the first band you might associate with such pieces. Their signature song “Welcome to the Black Parade” was one of a number of unique pieces featured during the May 8th concert much to the enjoyment of my fellow 2000’s teenagers.

The Lowell High School Orchestra recognized its graduating musicians during the annual Senior Solo Concert on Friday, May 8, 2026, at the Lowell Performing Arts Center. Directed by Wendy Tenney, the evening showcased performances from members of both the Chamber Orchestra and Symphony Orchestra while highlighting the accomplishments and musical talents of the Class of 2026.

Tatianna Castillo, Cole Cichocki, John McKay and Carson Blum represented Michigan during the nine-day event at the Fargodome, competing across the freestyle and Greco-Roman tournaments….

For Lowell incoming junior and soccer player Adrian Vidinlic, Croatia soccer has always been tied to more than the game itself. Born in Michigan to Croatian parents, Vidinlic grew up around Croatian family, friends and traditions.

That made this summer’s World Cup trip a unique experience for the Red Arrow. Vidinlic had the chance to see Croatia play in person, take part in a large Croatian fan parade in Dallas and watch some of the same players he has followed for years from seats close to the field.

End of Season Lowell JV Boys Golf Statistics

Lowell JV boys golf recorded seven dual-match wins during the Spring 2026 season, with a best 9-hole team score of 174 and a best 18-hole score of 343. Luke Fricke led the JV group with a 37 in 9-hole play and 82 in 18-hole play, while Carson Boon recorded a team-high 10 JV rounds. Johnny Allen, Evan Dressander, Colin Wengert, Fisher Lyons, Kenny Recor, Jack Goodwin, Ayden Muxlow and others added depth throughout the season.
