Lowell Soccer Standout Ben Homolka to Host Youth Shooting Camp
Justin Scott - 6/19/2026
Lowell High School soccer Class of 2027 senior Ben Homolka is offering a youth soccer shooting camp this month at Grand River Riverfront Park, home of local youth club Grand River FC.
The Homolka Shooting Camp will be held on June 22 and June 29 from 7:30 to 8:45 p.m. The camp is open to youth players ages 9-13 and costs $25 per person.
Homolka, a Lowell High School varsity captain and MHSAA all-state player, will lead the camp. He also brings experience from Midwest United MLS Next and the Michigan Olympic Development Team. Ben’s brother Lincoln is currently a keeper for the University of Olivet.
The camp is designed to give young players focused instruction on shooting, finishing and offensive skill development. It gives local players a chance to work with a current high-level player in a smaller, skill-specific setting.
Players interested in attending are asked to RSVP by calling or texting 616-560-4134. The camp will take place at Grand River Riverfront Park.
