Noah Brandt

For Noah Brandt, playing soccer alongside his friends has been the highlight of his time at Lowell High School. Outside of school, he enjoys hunting, fishing, snowboarding and going to the gym.

While soccer has provided some of his favorite memories, Brandt points to the classroom when asked about his proudest accomplishment: passing all of his AP tests.

His father has been his biggest influence throughout high school, helping him grow and mature. Along the way, Brandt has also discovered that he can handle more than he once thought possible.

“I’ve learned that I am a lot more resilient and can push through hard things than I thought about myself,” Brandt said.

That determination carries into his goals for the remainder of senior year. He hopes to earn a 4.0 GPA and bench press 225 pounds.

After graduation, Brandt is considering pursuing a business degree or taking a gap year to work, save money and explore what he wants to do next.

His advice to younger students is straightforward: get good sleep and go to the gym.

Cailey Bush

For Cailey Bush, high school has been shaped by community, hard work and opportunities to help others.

Bush participates in marching band, the Lowell Equestrian Team and 4-H, where she shows rabbits and horses. The equestrian team has been her favorite part of her time at Lowell, bringing together her love of horses and friendships that extend beyond the show ring.

“I get to show my horses with my friends on the weekend and hang out with them in school,” Bush said. “It is so amazing to have that community and find friends I might not otherwise have.”

One of her proudest accomplishments came in 2025, when she received the sportsmanship award through the 4-H horse program. The recognition was especially meaningful because it reflected the positive impact she had on others.

Bush credits Mrs. Lewis with having the greatest influence on her high school experience, teaching her to remain kind and hardworking even when things are difficult.

She has also learned to recognize her strengths and weaknesses and use that understanding to become a better person, student and friend.

For the rest of senior year, Bush wants to include others, maintain her grades and keep working hard while enjoying her final year at Lowell.

After graduation, she plans to attend a four-year university and earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Her goal is to work in a hospital, helping others and bringing more light into their lives.

Her advice to younger students reflects that same outlook.

“Keep working hard and look for ways to make other people’s day better,” Bush said. “A lot of the time it will make your day better too.”

As she looks ahead, Bush is excited to see what comes next for her classmates and the Class of 2027.
