2026 Lowell Football Schedule Confirmed

Brady Smith is one of Lowell’s key departures the Red Arrows will be looking to replace in 2026.

It’s official! Lowell Football’s 2026 schedule has been unveiled and Lowell will see two opponents change. The River Cities Alliance remains the same, as the Red Arrows will again take on Kenowa Hills, Coopersville, Sparta, Cedar Springs, Allendale, and Greenville.

In non-conference play, Lowell will continue their rivalry with East Grand Rapids. The continuation of this gridiron rivalry has been a priority for both programs over the years, even after Lowell left the Ottawa-Kent Conference.

Mattawan and Marquette will not be on the Red Arrows’ non conference schedule this season. Lowell played and beat Mattawan the last three years, while Marquette chose not to continue their series with the Red Arrows which only lasted one game.

Replacing them will be St. Joe and Lansing Everett.

The Red Arrows have played Lansing Everett just one time in their 125 year history, a 62-42 win in the first round of the playoffs back in 2008. The Vikings went 5-5 last season losing 67-19 to Portage Central in pre-districts. Lowell and St. Joe have never met on the football field. Like Lowell, they do have a long history though dating back to 1913. They went 6-5 last year, losing to Zeeland West in the district final 48-24. Of course Lowell would go on to beat Zeeland West in a thriller that sent the Red Arrows to their first semifinal since 2016.

Outgoing seniors like Nathan Raison, Graham Bailey, Logan Dawson, Brady Smith, Jack Iakiri, Oliver Sobie, Brody Lehman, James Jannenga, and Colten Barney will be tough to replace for Lowell.

The good news is there’s plenty of talent waiting in the wings and a strong receiving corps that includes returners like Crue Huisman. Also returning are a number of key contributors like running back Mitchell Eikey, inside linebacker Dawson Morgan, and linemen Carter Oxley, Weston McFarland, and Nash Darling.
