Over the past few years, the Lowell HS Marching Band has had their own Pink Arrow honoree ceremony. The honoree ceremony for band is optional and 13 members participated this year. Below are the band members and honorees. All photos taken by us here at Red Arrow Preps.

Lowell Marching Band Pink Arrow 2026 Players and Honorees
Cody Boyd (clarinet) is honoring the memory of his Great Uncle Martin Gaberdiel who passed away in October of 2009 from Esophageal Cancer. He is represented by his niece Jennifer Boyd.
Cailey Bush (clarinet) is honoring her Grandpa David Martin who bravely fought brain cancer for six years and passed away in 2001. David’s God given spirit continues to dance, laugh, and make the world a better place through his granddaughter Cailey. David’s daughter Cory is walking in his honor.
Bryce Craycraft (percussion) is honoring the memory of his Grandpa Dick Albert who passed away in 2006 from lung cancer and bone cancer. He is represented by his daughter Diana Craycraft.
Kason Diaz (alto sax) is honoring Grandma Georganna Chapin who has breast cancer and is currently in remission.
Ellory Duimstra (bass drum) is honoring the memory of Grandma Donna Livingston who passed away in 2016 of glioblastoma. She is represented by Ellory’s dad Ray Duimstra.
Jacqui Hoke (clarinet) is honoring her Grandpa Mike Bardeau who has stage 4 prostate cancer and is currently in remission.
Landon Jensen (snare drum) is honoring his Uncle Ivan Guerrero who survived appendix cancer. He is represented by Shantel and Brandon Jensen.
Tegan Lowe (trombone) is honoring his Grandpa Blair Cahoon who passed away from lung cancer in 2018. He is by Blair’s wife, Trudy, Tegan’s Oma, who is a two time cancer survivor.
Jackson Pelletier (trumpet) is honoring his Grandfather Fred Hillary who started in 2006 with squamous-cell-carcinoma and recently developed melanoma in August of 2025.
Jacob Schneider (trombone) is honoring his Great Grandfather Keith Ferguson who is a colon and skin cancer survivor.
Gavin Simmet (drumline) is honoring his Aunt Melisa McKendry who was diagnosed with breast cancer in March 2020 and has been cancer free for 5 years.
Austin Wideman (snare drum) is honoring his grandfather John Dekrow who lost his battle with kidney cancer in September of 2020. He is represented by Grandma Dekrow.
