Lowell Cheer Honorees
Cassidy Bykerk is cheering in memory of her friend Kate Lax who lost her battle to brain cancer in 2024. Representing Kate tonight is her daughter Evelyn Lax.
Hailey Craig is cheering in memory of her Grandpa Steve Weber, who passed away August 2025 to bladder cancer. Representing him tonight are his two daughters, Casey Craig and Cherelle Dorn.
Ava Culver is cheering in memory of Valerie Crumback, her cheer coach’s mom, who was a breast cancer and skin cancer survivor. Val passed away from primary progressive aphasia in 2021. Representing Val tonight is her daughter, Coach Dayna Bosma.
Emerson DeWit is cheering in honor of her Grandpa Dave Wise, a five year prostate cancer survivor walking with her.
Karleigh Dewitt is cheering in memory of Trisha Abbott, who passed away May 29, 2023 to colon cancer. Representing Trisha is her sister, Carol Rich Bridget, and her niece, Nicole Dove.
Kadance Gregory is cheering in honor of her Aunt Marla Karimipour, who is a cancer survivor. Representing Marla today is Kadance’s Uncle Kevin & Aunt Mary.
Molly Handlon is cheering in honor of her grandmother Judy McDurmon, a breast cancer survivor walking with her today.
Audrey Hettinga is cheering in memory of BJ Alpern, who passed away June 23, 2022 to throat cancer. Representing BJ is his son, Samuel Alpern, and his girlfriend, Autumn Campbell.
Mia Jacobs is cheering in honor of her mom, Peggy Jacobs, a thyroid cancer survivor and walking with her today.
Rowin Keely is cheering in memory of her grandma, Judy Oxford, who passed away May 18, 2025 from lung cancer. Representing Judy is her daughter, Tammy Keely.
Anna Kushion is cheering in honor of her mom, Deb Kushion, a breast cancer survivor walking with her today.
Brooke Lockard is cheering in memory of her grandma Gale Holtzlander, who lost her battle to leukemia in 2009. Representing Gale tonight is her son, David Lockard.
Izzy Mervau is cheering in honor of her mom, Tarah Merveau, an ovarian cancer survivor and walking with her today.
Aaliyah Monceaux is cheering in honor of her Granny Barb Hakeos a pharyngeal cancer survivor walking with her today.
Ellie O’Connor is cheering in honor of a family friend, Kristin Bradley, who is a breast cancer survivor and is walking alongside her today.
Sevaeh Redden is cheering in honor of her great grandpa, Donald Redden, who is currently battling cancer. Representing him today are his two great granddaughters Sevaeh and Myla Redden.
Sofia Romero is cheering in honor of Tia Celia, who is a cancer survivor. Representing Tia Celia is Sofia’s mother, Amanda Romero.
Carley Schilling is cheering in memory of her great grandma Anna Rivera who lost her battle to breast cancer in 2013. Walking alongside her is her Dad, Sister, Mom, Aunt Nikki, and cousins Skyler and Tyler.
Evie Shapiro is cheering in memory of Cheryl Shapiro, who passed away in the summer of 2026 after a courageous fight against cancer. Walking with her today is her sister Ruth.
Vivian Smith is cheering in honor of her Grandpa Bob Felder-Smith who won his battle against colon cancer and is walking alongside her today.
Payton Wale is cheering in honor of her mom, Cori Wale, who won her battle against thyroid cancer in March of 2026. Walking with her is mom Cori and brother Percy.
Grace Walz is cheering in honor of family friend, Kate Mulder, a breast cancer survivor and walking alongside her today.
Sophia Wiley is cheering in honor of Jason Pyrad, a Hodgkins Lymphoma survivor and walking alongside her today.
Layla Wilk is cheering in honor of her grandmother, Terrilee Royce, a survivor of squamous cell and breast cancer and walking alongside her today.
