2026 Soccer Alumni Game Set For July 26th

Last year, nearly 50 of Lowell’s top former soccer players signed up for what was set to be the fifth Lowell Red Arrows Soccer Alumni Game. Then July did what July does.
With heat indexes climbing above 100 degrees, the game had to be postponed to July 20. Even with the short-notice change, 36 players were still able to take the field, and the event went off without a hitch.
Now, the program is looking ahead to the 2026 alumni game.
The Lowell Red Arrows Soccer Alumni Game will be held Sunday, July 26, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at the LHS North Athletic Complex. The program has previously hosted alumni games in 2018, 2019, 2021, 2022 and 2025.
LHS girls soccer head coach Joe Woodruff said he hopes to see more women sign up for this year’s game. The event is open to both men and women who graduated from Lowell High School and played soccer for LHS.
The alumni game serves as a fundraiser for the Austin Lancaster Memorial Scholarship. The scholarship is named in honor of Austin Lancaster, a former LHS soccer player who died in a car crash during his junior year of high school in 2004.
